1. Second Account - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
flying a mission with two ships at once: for a while I knew a nutter who was quad-boxing mission... so 2 is certainly do-able. as for sending stuff, easy way: add your alt to your main's contact list and vice versa, then to send isk just right ...

2. Viability of playing EVE with a single account? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
as someone who's done it for just about 2 years, it's entirely do-able to run just a single account. but you really want to make a point of joining a good corp or at least finding some good friends, as (by design I'm sure) there is lots in eve th...

3. Most "versatile" race mission-wise? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I think the only one that doesn't have a versatile ship, are the Amarr, and that's just because they are stuck with em/therm turrets, and to my knowledge they don't really have a drone boat bigger than a cruiser. that said, you mentioned you have...

4. Level 2/3 Missions and Salvaging - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Salvaging I always found to be such a hit-or-miss affair. Some days it would rain Armour Plates and you'd make more money off the salvage that the mission it's self, and other times you'll go home with a hold full of garbage not even worth the ca...

5. Skills untrainable by trial accounts. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
LoL, I hung out in that Area of space for a while and never gave the idea of Macro hauling that much thought, I just assumed that there was lots of nubs who didn't get the memo about lowsec being a dangerous place of a Industrial. But Macro-Haulin...

6. Some beginner questions - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
a far as the making money from missions (quests as you called them) they're a bit of an investment of sorts: Level 1 agents give you missions that pay like the Service Industry, slightly more than nothing., however as you keep successfully comple...

7. Help a NOOB Please <--there I asked nicely - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Abram Thrust on 05/11/2010 05:52:19 as far as the poster that questioned rails + rockets on a tristan, I can shed some light on it: with good missile and gunnery skills, 125's with anti matter have a Optimal that comes up just shy ...

8. Which Minmatar Cruiser. - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'm unsure if you can even buy a Ruppy hull for 3 mil... if you're hunting pirates at belts though, I'd highly advise against lowsec in a cruiser. simply because a rifter/thrasher can deal with 90% of belt rats in lowsec just fine(albeit slightl...

9. Planetary production - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I'd call it "worth it" in the way that it 's almost entirely passive. you won't get stinking bloody rich doing it, at least not at any sane level, but you'll have a hard time beating the effort/Isk ratio once you have it set up and running doubl...

10. Questions about minmatar mission ships (BC+) - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
as far as a Mission BS goes, the Maelstrom is whoop-ass. either in perma-boosting arty or burst-tanking XL booster flovors. and like the above guy said, the 'cane is good, but a Burst-tanking Cyclone is also just fine

12. Trying to get into PVP - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
forst thing that comes to mind for your friend would be the 1600 Plate Ruppy, though it depends on what he wants for "long range", however between T2 AC's, Barrage Ammo, and if he wants to go nuts, falloff rigs, you can get a pretty crazy "effecti...

13. Where to fight? - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
I second the RvB suggestion. If you can't leave corp with your main, just make a quick and dirty alt and set aside a week or two to train him up for the T1 frig of your choice, then join up with the alt. you can get a good deal of Real Life skill...

15. So, I lost my first ship.... - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
also, since I'm suprised no one's mentioned it, perhaps yo uand your friend should join Red vs. Blue. we're two perma-wardeced highsec corps, lots of targets, and a little safer than lowsec (we don't pod members) and there's always someone who'll...

16. Ratting in low-sec - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]

17. Merlin vs Rifter - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
Edited by: Abram Thrust on 21/01/2010 18:59:33 I'd also advise the MWD-long range merlin. a lot of rifters are AB fit, and while the rifter's a quick ship, in't not quick enough to catch a MWD equipped ship. Kite him and grind him down, unle...

18. Newbie afterburner question - in EVE New Citizens Q&A [original thread]
